Jim Houser is a self taught artist his work is a colourful mix of characters, objects and text. Houser splits his canvases into a series of small paintings each intricately painted with inexplicable symbolism and poetic scrawl that speak out about personal tribulations. His sensitive and hugely successful use of colour is both warm and inviting his limited palette helps tie together the patchwork confusion of juxtaposing images and text.
