McBess

Mcbess has a really unusual style, his crazy looney toon-esque characters inhabit an even stranger world.

Linzie Hunter - Coney Island

On my recent trip to New York I managed to get out to Coney Island I really enjoyed seeing the hand painted signs and old rides. I thought the above image by illustrator Linzie hunter was a great homage to Coney Island, she has really captured a sense of the place.

Irena Zablotska

Some really great bits of pattern here.

Jen Corace

Here are some great illustrations by Jen Corace. I really enjoy her graphic line quality and earthy colour pallete, her work really reminds me of Marcel Dzarma.

Seonna Hong

Seonna Hong creates some really beautiful work. I had a quick glance through her website, its really interesting to see the progression in her work.

Clare Roja

Some really nice paintings by Clare Roja. "Combining features of cartoon and folk art, her paintings depict sexual role reversals with the male as the object of a critical (and mocking!) female gaze". I particularly enjoy the elements of pattern in the clothing of the top portrait.

Talita Hoffman

Recently stumbled across Talita Hoffmans work. Really beautiful drawings. Strange worlds weird creatures and pylons!
